Where is my countdown saved?
Nowhere on our side. All the settings are inside the link itself, so there is no account and nothing to delete. To change it, make a new link.
Which time zone does the countdown use?
You set the end time in your own time zone. Each visitor sees the time left and the end time in their local time, so 8 pm in New York shows as 1 am or 2 am in Berlin, depending on the date.
What happens when the countdown ends?
The timer switches to your ended message. The default is "This giveaway has ended. Winners will be announced soon." Anyone who opens the link later sees that message straight away.
Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. The end is stored as one exact moment, so a clock change before the end doesn't move it. If you pick a time that happens twice when the clocks go back, the first one is used. If you pick a time that is skipped when the clocks go forward, it moves forward by the gap.
Can I put the countdown on my website?
Yes. Copy the embed code and paste it into your page's HTML. It shows the countdown without our header or footer.
Can I add it to my calendar or share it as a Story?
Yes. "Add to calendar" downloads an .ics file that calendar apps can open. "Story image" downloads a 1080 × 1920 PNG with the time left at the moment you download it.
