How to copy your TikTok comments

It takes about a minute on a computer. We never see your account.

On a computer

  1. Open the video on tiktok.com in a browser on your computer. Log in if TikTok asks before it shows all comments.
  2. The comments are next to the video. Scroll them until no more load. Click 'View replies' on any thread whose replies count.
  3. Select from the first commenter's name down to the last comment.
  4. Copy with Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on a Mac) and paste here with Ctrl+V (Cmd+V).

Tips

  • Scroll the comments until all of them are loaded before copying.
  • TikTok shows display names in comments, not @usernames. Winners are shown with the name TikTok showed.
  • It's fine if the caption or the video stats get copied too. They're skipped.

On a phone

  1. The TikTok app doesn't let you select and copy many comments at once. Use a computer to get the full list.

Each platform has its own rules for giveaways. Check them before you start.

How it works

  1. Open your video on tiktok.com on a computer and copy the comments. The guide under the tool shows how.
  2. Paste them here. Dates, like counts and 'Reply' are removed, and each comment is listed by the name TikTok shows.
  3. Set your entry rules, such as tags per comment, a keyword or one entry per person.
  4. Pick your winners and share the draw link.

Questions and answers

Why do I have to paste the comments?

Comment pickers that read TikTok directly make you log in through TikTok's business API, and they read the videos of the account you log in with. Pasting needs no login and works for any video you can open.

Does it work for personal accounts and any video?

Yes. It doesn't matter whether the account is personal or business, or whose video it is. If you can see the comments, you can paste them here.

How do I copy all comments?

On a computer, open the video on tiktok.com, scroll the comments until no more load, and open the reply threads that count. Then select from the first name to the last comment and copy. The TikTok app can't copy many comments at once.

Can I require tags?

Yes. Set 'Required @mentions per comment' from 0 to 10. Only different accounts count, and tagging yourself or the host doesn't. TikTok shows display names, not usernames, in copied comments, so two people with the same display name count as one entry, and you can fix names in the table.

Is there a comment limit?

No. There's no cap on comments or winners. One paste can be up to 5 MB of text, and it's all handled in your browser.

Do you see my TikTok account?

No. We never log into your account or ask for a password. The comments stay in your browser and the draw runs there too.

What are TikTok's rules for giveaways?

TikTok has its own rules for promotions, and local law applies too. Check both before you start.
